Duties:

Involved in all primary aspects of course management as part of the management team:

• Fertilizer/pesticide calibration, application and record keeping
• Integrated Pest Management strategies
• Turfgrass cultural practices (mowing, grooming, verticutting, topdressing, rolling, aerifying)
• Water management responsibilities (through use of moisture meters)
• Projects (greens renovation, bunker repairs, drainage, irrigation, etc.) 

Compensation:

• $13-14/hour + overtime
• A town house 5 min. off property will be provided
• Uniforms
• Golfing privileges
• NJ pesticide applicators license

As an intern you will have the opportunity to interact with the assistants and superintendent on a daily basis. During these interactions you will be encouraged to ask any questions and will become exposed to our decision making process. We look to try to bring out the strengths and improve on any weaknesses in our interns while preparing them for a successful future in the turf industry.
